This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be requested for purchases made through Totugo (totugo.com). By purchasing a subscription or other digital product through our Service, you agree to this Refund Policy.

Eligibility for Refunds

If you purchase a Totugo subscription or other digital product directly through our Service, you may request a refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. For subscription renewals, you may request a refund within 30 days of the most recent renewal date.

Refund requests submitted after the applicable 30-day period will generally not be eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law.

Subscriptions and Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges in accordance with the billing interval shown at checkout.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period unless a refund is approved. Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for charges already processed.

Digital Products and Immediate Access

Totugo provides digital products and services that may be made available immediately after purchase, including subscription features, premium functionality, and other digital benefits. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that access to these benefits may begin immediately.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law, including any rights relating to digital content, defective products, or services not provided as described.

When Refunds May Be Refused

We may refuse a refund request if we reasonably believe that the request involves fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, repeated refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.

Except where required by applicable law, we generally do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, partially used subscription periods, unused time, or requests made after the applicable refund window has expired.

Prorated and Partial Refunds

Refunds are generally issued for the full charge relating to an eligible purchase or renewal. We do not normally provide prorated refunds for unused time remaining in an active subscription period unless required by law or unless we decide to do so in an exceptional case.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at info@totugo.com. Please include the email address used for the purchase, the order number if available, the date of purchase, and a brief description of the reason for your request.

We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to verify your purchase, confirm eligibility, and process your request.

Merchant of Record

Some purchases made through Totugo may be processed by an authorized Merchant of Record, which may act as the seller of record for the transaction and handle payments, taxes, refunds, and chargeback-related matters on our behalf.

Where a Merchant of Record is involved, refunds may also be subject to that provider’s applicable terms, internal review procedures, and legal obligations.

Refund Method and Timing

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method.

After a refund is approved, the time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution. In many cases, refunds are reflected within 10 business days, but timing may vary.

Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, we encourage you to contact us first before initiating a chargeback so we can review the issue and attempt to resolve it directly.

If a chargeback is initiated for a payment that is later determined to be valid, we reserve the right to contest the chargeback and to suspend or terminate access to related subscription benefits or digital services where appropriate.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, limits, or overrides any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If local law grants you additional rights to cancel, withdraw, or receive a refund, those rights will continue to apply.

Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The updated version will apply to purchases made after the revised policy becomes effective, unless otherwise required by law.
